Scott Egbert

Scott Egbert is Founder and Executive Coach at Scott Egbert Coaching & Consulting, LLC, an executive coaching practice that works with leaders to achieve challenging goals, grow resilience and confidence (for themselves and their teams), and navigate transitions successfully.

Scott spent 20+ years in leadership roles across several business units at Intel.  Most recently, he was a Leadership Coach and Talent Learning & Development Program Manager, leading technical leader development and promotion programs (Fellows, Senior Principal Engineers) for an 11,000-person organization.  In his Finance Director role at Intel Capital, he oversaw over $500M of equity investments and co-led $B+ acquisitions.  He held various finance leadership roles at Intel, where he was deeply engaged in manager and leadership development, including training, facilitation, and leadership coaching.  Before joining Intel, Scott worked with a large public utility company in sales forecasting and fuel supply chain management.  Earlier in his career, Scott was an engineering consultant at a boutique consulting firm utilizing leading-edge computational fluid dynamics technology for various industries.

Drawing on his experience as a leader, Scott’s areas of expertise include leadership development and transitions. Scott helps his clients achieve meaningful goals by parsing their aspirational goals into specific behavioral goals. He partners with them to develop customized action plans (suited for your unique strengths and obstacles) to achieve their goals.  A specific focus of his coaching is helping leaders conquer overwhelm, regain confidence, and prevent burnout – for themselves and their teams.  Additionally, he helps leaders navigate challenging transitions, including outplacement.

Scott holds a Master of Business Administration degree in general management and finance from the University of Michigan Stephen M. Ross School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan College of Engineering. His certifications include Leadership Coaching Certification from the Hudson Institute of Coaching and Associate Certified Coach (ACC) from the International Coaching Federation (ICF).  Scott is also an Ambassador for the ICF Oregon Chapter.

Scott has a broad base of experience with clients spanning large high-tech, health care, insurance, consumer goods corporations as well as start-ups.
